In a near‑future Japan suffering from ultra-low birth rates, society has radically changed: children are treasured and given much more social power, while adults are marginalized. In this world, Santa Claus is banned and believed to be a dangerous myth. Middle-schooler Kazushige Sanda, however, is secretly a descendant of Santa. After a classmate (Fuyumura) attacks him and begs him to find her missing friend, Sanda realizes he must embrace his legacy. He decides to become Santa — not just as a myth, but as a hero — and fights against the adult-controlled social order.
