Monday Okpabelo’s WAEC Result Sparks Online Buzz After Warning Peter Obi

The recently surfaced WAEC result of Monday Okpabelo, the Governor of Edo State, has triggered widespread controversy on social media—just days after he publicly warned Peter Obi.

As previously reported by Gistreel, Okpabelo had issued a cautionary statement directed at Peter Obi following his visit to Benin City, where the former presidential candidate donated ₦15 million.

However, the emergence of the governor’s 2008 WAEC results has shifted the public spotlight. The results reveal a less-than-impressive academic performance, with his highest grade being a C5 in Mathematics. He reportedly took six subjects, scoring D7 in Commerce, Economics, and Christian Religious Knowledge (CRK), and an E8 in English.

The leak has since sparked a wave of reactions online:

🔸 Gifty wrote: “E don cast. No wonder he couldn’t pronounce ‘billions’ and said he would import insecurity into Edo State 🙄😅🤣😂.”

🔸 Emmanuel Nweke said: “No wonder he couldn’t pronounce figures.”

🔸 Nkem Dike added: “No wonder he told Edo people he would give them insecurity 🤣.”

🔸 Samsy Kenny commented: “So this man just crams what’s written for him and forgets it mid-speech? Omo, na wa oo! Oga don use him hand buy market for Alaba International.”
