Two mothers, Ebube and Olaide, live in the same upscale neighbourhood but dislike each other deeply. Ebube looks down on Olaide, whom she believes is a “village girl” who've just come into money and doesn’t belong in high society. Coincidentally, their children attend the same school and both are top contenders for a prestigious World Scholar Program—an opportunity that might save the school from shutting down.
This competition pits the two mothers in fierce rivalry. They adopt various antics and schemes to ensure their own child wins. But as conflict escalates, truths emerge about family, friendship, and what true motherhood entails. Despite the enmity, the mothers find common ground and a bond begins to form when facing shared challenges—including a cheating husband and societal expectations.
