Abigail (played by Ruth Kadiri) is a devoted preacher’s wife trapped in a marriage that has lost its warmth: her husband is neglectful, intimacy is denied, and though he sustains them financially, emotional connection is missing. Feeling isolated, Abigail prays for change.

She meets Somtochukwu (Maurice Sam), a charismatic man whose attention and flattery stir something in her. She also confides in her friend Kiki, who suggests ways she might cope. As temptation mounts, Abigail struggles between her vows and her need for love and understanding.

Her husband’s betrayal, and Somtochukwu’s persistent affection, test her morality and strength. Eventually, she does give in, regrets follow, secrets unravel, including revelations of infidelity and involvement from other people (like Bianca). In the end, Abigail divorces to heal. Somtochukwu pursues her, but the story is about faith, betrayal, desire, and whether redemption is possible.
