Set in the early 2000s in the coastal town of Bheemili, Subham (2025) unfolds as a supernatural horror-comedy exploring how media and superstition intertwine in a small-town setting.
Srinivas (Harshith Reddy), a local cable operator, prepares for his wedding with Srivalli (Shriya Kontham). But soon after marriage, strange things begin happening — every night at 9 PM, Srivalli behaves oddly, as if possessed, whenever a TV serial called Janma Janmala Bandham airs.

Before long, other wives in the community begin acting the same way, leaving their husbands confused and terrified. Together, Srinivas and his friends embark on a bizarre, hilarious, and spooky quest to uncover the truth — a mission that leads them to Maya Sri (Samantha), a mysterious spiritual healer.

Blending satirical humor, social commentary, and eerie supernatural twists, Subham examines how obsession, media control, and patriarchal beliefs can spiral into chaos.
