League of Gods is a 2016 Hong Kong-Chinese fantasy action film directed by Koan Hui. Based on the 16th-century Chinese novel Fengshen Yanyi (Investiture of the Gods), the story is set in a mythical world where King Zhou of Shang, manipulated by the evil fox spirit Daji, wages war across the land. A group of legendary warriors and immortals rise to stop his reign of terror, leading to epic battles filled with sorcery, martial arts, and mystical creatures.
