Season 2 of Turn of the Tide picks up after Eduardo and Carlinhos are detained as stowaways on a ship bound for America. Deported back to Portugal, Eduardo returns to find his home destroyed and is drawn back into the criminal world when a hidden stash of cocaine resurfaces. Meanwhile, Silvia, now pregnant and grieving her father's death, is approached by her uncle to take over the criminal enterprise. She embraces her new role, asserting control over Eduardo and the operation.
